EastEnders fans are predicting an unexpected lesbian affair between Suki Panesar and Honey Mitchell.
Minute Mart owner Suki has been turning to friend Honey for support in recent weeks as she struggles to get over the death of her second son Jags Panesar.
Suki feels guilty as she was responsible for Jags being wrongfully imprisoned for the assault of Martin Fowler when her youngest boy Vinny Panesar was actually the perpetrator.
Keen to punish him for his insolence and romance with Habiba Ahmed, Suki informed on him and Jags was sent to jail where he was later murdered.
Suki has confided in Honey who has supported her despite not always agreeing with her decisions.
Mrs Panesar told Honey: “I’m not a good person. What happened to him, what I did...I killed Jags.
"I told them it was him. I tipped the police off but it was Vinny who did the robbery. It was Vinny who hit Martin."
As Suki and Honey bonded through these emotional scenes, many fans were theorising where the story will go next as Suki's husband remains in prison while Honey is in a relationship with ex-husband Billy's surrogate son Jay Brown.
One EastEnders fan penned on Twitter : "honey and suki are super gay for eachother , tell me I’m wrong #eastenders ".
A different viewer predicted: "I can’t believe Suki and Honey are going to become lesbian lovers. Gawjuss queens who bring out the best in each other #Eastenders ".
Meanwhile, another fan of the soap commented: "i’m just catching up on this weeks eps and omg honey and suki have so much connection and chemistry they need to be a thing!! #EastEnders #HONSUKI ".
Elsewhere, another Enders viewer penned: "Interesting. I'm curious to see how this goes. Honey hasn't expressed that she was bisexual in the past. That doesn't mean that she can't develop feelings for Suki now. I mean, Halfway changed from heterosexual to gay once Oates&Sen arrived. #Soney # EastEnders ".
Finally, one fan of the soap concluded: "It would be more believable than Honey and Jay.".
Next week, Suki invites Honey over for dinner and seethes with jealousy as daughter Dr Ash Kaur interrupts their meal.
As Suki occupies by struggling with Ash over the latter's professional situation, Honey and Suki spend more time together and get ready for the Pride of Walford Awards.
Is it just a platonic friendship between them?
