EastEnders fans are convinced a former villain is making a return to Walford, after a major clue in a recent episode of the BBC soap.
Killer Janine Butcher, played by actress Charlie Brooks, vacated the Square in 2014 after she murdered her partner Michael Moon, while she also murdered her first husband Barry Evans back in 2003.
But despite her departure, she is still said to own a house in the Square which her stepmother Pat Butcher lived in before her death.
Currently, the house is shared by the Slaters with Tiffany Butcher and Whitney Dean also having lived there over the past few years - but this could be about to change.
Big Mo received a letter in the post this week that left her mortified, with the family at risk of being made homeless.
The letter claimed the owner was selling up, and that those living there had two months to vacate the premises.
There were no details about the owner, and Janine herself did not confirm the decision with the tenants - while it isn't even known if she knows who is living at the property.
But viewers were quick to recall Janine owned the house, and there hasn't been any suggestion since then that she sold it or that it was owned by anyone else.
This led them to believe it was Janine selling up - perhaps she realised her enemy Stacey Fowler was living there and wanted her out, or, as some fans have predicted, there could be more to the story.
Viewers are speculating why Janine would suddenly decide to sell the house, questioning if she could make a brief return to see the sale go through.
Taking to Twitter , fans queried the house sale and also the potential for the favourite to head back to Walford.
One fan said: "Doesn’t Janine own the slater house?" as another asked: "The landlord is selling the house... isn't that Janine?"
On a return theory, a viewer commented: "I agree, there is definitely room for Janine to return, especially around and after the 35th anniversary."
Another added: "So Janine sells the house? OMG. Why? She must be back soon."
A third wrote: "Right! Anyone else calling a return, brief or otherwise, from the queen b***h aka Janine?"
This was echoed by a fourth fan who said: "I wonder if @CharlieBrooks0 is reprising her role of Janine Butcher and this is the start of her return!"
