EastEnders fans are convinced another forgotten victim will die in a distressing twist.

Dennis Mitchell tragically lost his life in tonight's traumatic scenes during the 35th anniversary special.

The 13-year-old was freed from a locked room by Ian Beale but drowned in the Thames after they were hit by a surge of water.

If that wasn't heartbreaking enough, EastEnders viewers believe there will be another death involving the Mitchell family.

During all the chaos of the boat crash there was another much-loved character lying unconscious in a perilous situation.

Lifeless Callum Highway was seen in an abandoned warehouse after badly injuring himself.

Callum was kidnapped by Keanu Taylor as part of a blackmail plot against his boyfriend Ben Mitchell.

When Keanu rushed off to save Sharon, dishevelled Callum managed to break his chains and escape.

But he didn't see a drop in front of him and plummeted from a great height onto the ground below - and Shirley Carter failed to find him.

Waking up in the dark after falling, Callum whispered: "Help, anybody."

In the wake of the boat crash, traumatised Ben could barely hear as Keanu tried to explain that he was not lying about Callum's location.

Back in Albert Square, distraught Ben walked round crying before shouting Callum's name.
