EastEnders fans convinced Chelsea is a secret killer like dad Lucas after sinister phone call

Suspicious EastEnders viewers reckon they've cracked Chelsea Fox's real motive for getting close to her dad again - and it's not because she's naive to his true nature.

Rather, fans believe that she might actually share more traits with her serial killer father than we all first believed after her mysterious phone call...

Denise has been left incredibly concerned about her daughter ever since learning that she was back in contact with her ex-husband, who kidnapped and imprisoned her - as well as trying to choke her to death.

Viewers watched last night as Lucas was attacked by thugs while Chelsea was locked in the car and was screaming in horror, with many believing it was the result of Patrick asking Phil to have Lucas attacked so that he would stay away from Denise.

But it seemed as though that was not the case - and that Chelsea's associates may have caused the attack on her dad.

Moreover, she appeared to have gotten in contact with her dad to get him to potentially carry out a murder.

After meeting her mum with Lucas at her side, Denise left and Chelsea went to take a phone call outside.

Walking outside on her phone, she demanded from the mystery caller: "What do you want?"

After they responded, she said: "Yeah, I got the message, loud and clear. You do realise you nearly killed him?"

Following their next reply, she continued: "Well you should care, because the man they assaulted was the man I lined up for the job.

"You sent me a message, here's one for you - you want this job done, and done well, you need to wind your neck in and trust me. I've got everything under control."

What do you think Chelsea is up to? Has she followed in her father's footsteps?

*EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One
