EastEnders' Phil Mitchell was left stunned when he popped into the Minute Mart, and saw how much they were charging for face masks.
Wanting to do their bit amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Panesars have been selling face coverings in their store.
Phil picked one off the shelf during Thursday's episode, noting they were on a discount.
The tag read £1.50 which seemed like a bargain, but Phil was shocked when he realised how much they actually cost.
In fact he was so alarmed he confronted shop worker Honey, after realising the masks were £8 per item.
Judging by Phil's comments, they were still £8 too despite the label.
He wasn't the only one outraged though, with viewers also gobsmacked by the price of them.
One fan said: "£8 for a face mask in Watford oooft!"
Another tweeted: "£8 for a face mask?!!! Ouch!!"
A third added: "£8 for a face mask??"
But the biggest shock for many came when Phil actually bought a mask despite the price, amid his complaining.
He later complained about it again to Callum Highway, but had purchased it regardless.
Some viewers couldn't see what all the fuss was about though, with one fan saying: "£8 for a face mask that's cheap for London."
Another wrote: "Oh shut up Phil complaining about the cost of a mask."
