Dot Branning was left traumatised on tonight's EastEnders after discovering someone had stolen her money.
Disgusting Sonia Fowler helped herself to £8,000 from her grandmother's savings to pay Martin's hit-and-run victim to stay silent.
The evil trumpet player thought she had got away with it and went to E20 to get drunk while devastated Dot discovered she was the victim of a hideous crime.
Dot broke down in tears on the phone to Stuart Highway, telling him: "I need your help. There’s something very odd."
After being dumped by "patronising" Martin, Sonia returned home to find frantic Stuart explaining what had happened.
Dot had been trying to contact Sonia for hours after getting a horrific call from the bank.
Unable to control her emotions, heartbroken Dot said: "Someone has robbed me, Sonia."
Furious Stuart said: "Some thieving scum has cashed a fat cheque."
Trying to work out who was to blame, Dot said: "Who could have done a thing like that? Who could have done it, Son?"
Twisted Sonia didn't say a word as she watched her heartbroken grandma break down in tears.

EastEnders viewers pointed out that it wouldn't be hard to track down who stole the money.
Taking to Twitter , one fan said: "Come on Dot it doesn't take Columbo to work out Sonia cashed the cheque"
"The cheque was made out to Sonia Fowler so it won’t be that hard to trace," added another.
A third said: "Ooh I don’t know Dot, WHO did u give a blank check to?"
"Sonia wrote a check to herself using dots account so it would clearly show it’s been moved to her account," said a fourth.
