EastEnders’ Dean Gaffney in second car crash in four months after 'head-on smash' near BBC set

EastEnders star Dean Gaffney has reportedly walked away unscathed following a head-on car crash near the set of the BBC soap.

The actor, 40, is said to have been leaving the Elstree Studios in his white Skoda last week when his car collided with a Vauxhall Corsa.

The other car was said to have been driven by a teenager and both drivers walked away without any serious injuries.

Picture of the scene, published by The Sun , show serious damage to the front of the Corsa.

An onlooker said: "I heard the smash, came out and saw Dean Gaffney by the side of the road.

“He was looking at his car and so was the other driver.

"They didn’t seem hurt.”

A spokesperson for the soap star confirmed Gaffney had been in a "minor" accident.

It comes less than four months after Gaffney cheated death in a terrifying accident on the M25.

The actor, who plays Robbie Jackson in the BBC One soap, walked away unscathed following the horror crash in February.

Gaffney is a said to have been travelling with a female passenger when the smash happened near Brentwood in Essex around 1am.

Gaffney told the publication he'd had a "bump" in his car, adding: "There has been a crash which is why I'm driving a hire car."
