EastEnders' Danny Dyer builds £5,000 igloo in garden to entertain pals

EastEnders legend Danny Dyer has built a £5,000 igloo in his back garden - so he can entertain his pals Queen Vic-style.

The igloo - made of plastic and wood - is fully ventilated and has a sound system to boot.

The star and wife Joanne Mas have begun inviting their pals into their garden so they can enjoy a proper Cockney knees-up.

Dyer gave a glimpse of the structure during a podcast video of friend and Inbetweeners star James Buckley.

In it, Danny and his wife Joanne was seen toasting him and his wife Claire.

In another shot, a vinyl record player was seen.

“This is a dome I built with my own hands, Dyer says.

A source said: “Danny is clearly very proud of it and it offers a great, safe solution to socially distant drinks in the garden.”

Their night comes after Danny admitted he needed an op on his genitals as he has a testicle the size of a “jacket potato”.

The actor has a swelling called a hydrocele and needs a procedure to reduce it.

He said:: “I’m thinking about having a bit of laser eye surgery — but the other thing I’ve got to get done is my b******.

“Basically, one of them is like a jacket potato. For real. That’s going to be the priority.

“If it’s a cold day, my winkle looks like a little slug lying on an apple.”

He is expected to undergo a hydrocelectomy to get rid of the fluid around the testicle.

Danny will wait until later this year when the NHS is less strained.

The star discovered in 2017 that he was a direct descendant of royalty when he appeared on BBC series Who Do You Think You Are?

During the show, where celebrities retrace their family trees, Danny found out that King Edward III was his 22-times great-grandfather.
