EastEnders star Barbara Smith has revealed she was actually first on the BBC soap in 2019, two years before joining as Dana Monroe.
Dana made her debut in Walford earlier this year, after going on a date with Bobby Beale.
The character initially decided to end things after learning about Bobby's dark past, and the death of his sister Lucy Beale who he accidentally killed.
But after some wise words from his brother Peter, Dana decided to give him a chance and romance has since blossomed.
Her father Harvey is now also in Albert Square, and soon her brother Aaron Monroe will be making his arrival with details being kept under wraps.

This isn't actress Barbara's first stint on the BBC soap though, and she actually appeared in scenes back in 2019.
Viewers may remember her as a student visiting Oxford University for an open day, where existing resident Bex Fowler was also attending.
She played Ellie, who noticed Bex was struggling and proceeded to offer her drugs.
While it was only a brief stint, the character was part of a storyline that saw Sonia Fowler's troubled daughter turn to drugs.

Fastforward two years, and now Barbara has joined the BBC soap as a regular cast member and is now playing newcomer Dana.
Barbara recalled the past cameo when speaking to Inside Soap magazine, which she remembered as playing "a girl named Ellie who sold Bex Fowler some dodgy medication, which of course led to a challenging story for her."
She also discussed her first time on the famous set, calling it all very surreal.

Barbara revealed: "I felt as if I was stepping into my TV when I first walked on to the set and it was one of those moments where I had to pinch myself.
"I was obsessed with EastEnders as a kid, and it's especially surreal if I ever see Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey.
"The reveal of Max and Stacey's affair, followed by Bradley later falling from the roof of the Queen Vic was my favourite storyline ever."
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
