EastEnders confirms Jed is the real father of Harry - and Katy has other abuse victims

EastEnders' Mick Carter is still struggling with facing his past, after opening up about the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of his care worker as a child.

Aged 12, he was sexually abused and groomed by Katy Lewis, before she suddenly disappeared shortly after.

A few months ago, Frankie Lewis, the daughter of Katy, showed up in Walford and claimed to the the daughter of Mick.

The news, and the later arrival of Katy, soon triggered a downward spiral for Mick who was unable to face his past - with events coming to a head when he contemplated taking his own life.

Mick has since told his wife Linda and others about what happened but has decided to not go to the police, while he is getting to know Frankie.

But the latest episode saw the shocking confirmation that Katy had other victims - and it appears there are other children like Frankie who are the kids of those she abused.

It was the anniversary of her little brother Harry's death during the soap's latest episode, and she was joined by his step-brother Jed from his dad's side.

But Linda, who joined Frankie for support, was left suspicious when Jed explained Harry's dad was never involved with the youngster.

She soon confronted him with her suspicions, telling him about her husband Mick and what Katy did.

She feared she was mistaken though when Jed kicked off and stormed out, leading to her and Frankie following.

It's then that the horrifying truth came out - he was the father of Harry and was another victim of Katy.

But Jed soon admitted he wasn't alone, and there were other boys too leaving both Linda and Frankie mortified.

Jed shouted: "I did what I said, what I promised. I didn't say a word, not a single word about Harry, nothing."

Linda then asked him if he was Harry's dad, realising what he was talking about as Frankie looked on in shock.

Jed continued: "I never told no one. About me, about any of us..."

It dawned on Linda that there were other victims, and viewers were equally moved by the discovery.

So what will Frankie do with this information, and will the other victims come forward?

Katy threatened Mick to stay quiet about the abuse (BBC)

Earlier on in the episode, Stuart, who was at the same care home as Mick, said how Katy had several kids following her around when they were kids - not seeming to know the truth.

Some fans have speculated Stuart might be involved too.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
