EastEnders’ Clair Norris unrecognisable in glam night out snaps

EastEnders actress Clair Norris, who plays Bernadette Taylor on the soap, looks completely different to her character as she posed for photos on a night out with pals.

The actress looked nothing like her character as she slammed up in sequins on the festive night out in east London.

The 21-year-old went for all out glam wearing gold flared trousers, a black top and necklace at the Queen of Hoxton, in Shoreditch.

She posted pictures of her retro night out on Instagram and wrote: "Disco Vs Hippie ~ Jas’ 21st."

Fans loved the look, with one writing: "Groovy baby," while another wrote: "Love them trousers."

Just months ago soap star Clair ditched Bernadette’s scruffy clothes, no makeup and up-do look for glamorous dusty pink swing dress with sun-kissed skin as she enjoyed an evening out in Cyprus.

And she recently wowed fans with another style transformation when she went on a girl's night out to the Friends set.

The actress scrubbed up well as she arrived at an event to celebrate 25 years of the iconic TV show in London.

She wore a floral blouse with daisy motifs on it, a pair of black trousers and a trendy headband.

The actress first appeared on our screens as Bernadette Taylor when her larger-than-life family moved into Albert Square in 2017.

Since moving onto the Square, Bernadette has had a number of gripping storylines including a teenage pregnancy, heartbreaking miscarriage and incest.

Bernadette’s most recent storyline has focussed on her sexuality as she fell in love with school-friend Tiffany Butcher.

Since coming out, Bernadette’s family have supported her and even attended a Pride parade with her, which was the idea of her mum Karen Taylor.

Last year Clair hit back at trolls who make cruel comments about her appearance on social media.

She said: "Don't normally react, but I have seen some really nasty comments on pictures from soap awards regarding my size…

"I could get upset but when I put it into perspective I just laugh."

She added: "I love my job and I get to do something that I am so passionate about EVERYDAY and with the support from family and friends I am living my best life!!!!"
