EastEnders Christmas death: All the clues Nish dies from cryptic scene to family feud

EastEnders fans may have solved the case as to who dies this Christmas, following the news being revealed in a flashforward clip.

One male character will be killed off in dramatic scenes on Christmas Day, with six current suspects.

Suki Panesar, Denise Fox, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale all feature in the clip and are all next to the body.

Viewers have now worked out some possible theories, with most if not all of the six women having possible motives to want Nish dead.

Any of the six could find themselves in circumstances that result in a showdown with Nish, while there is still plenty more to be revealed.

From bombshells to major clues in the flashforward, fans have pieced together all the hints that could expose Nish as the murder victim...

Queen Vic feud

It would be pretty fitting for Nish to meet a grisly end in The Queen Vic, given he's currently at war with Sharon Watts to buy it from Linda Carter.

He wouldn't be the first Walford villain to be murdered in there either, so perhaps history will repeat itself.

The fact Sharon and Linda are there when the murder happens could tease they are the killer or at least involved.

Nish isn't afraid to go against Sharon or the Mitchells to get what he wants, but might he push them too far?

Maybe he doesn't take too kindly to Linda wanting another buyer, leading to a dark end for him.

Affair reveal?

Ravi Gulati is currently caught up in an on/off affair with Denise Fox (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)

Nish's son Ravi Gulati is currently caught up in an on/off affair with Denise Fox, another of the women in the flashforward clip.

Denise's partner Jack is currently investigating Ravi and his dodgy dealings, so might detective Jack end up investigating Nish too?

Either way, fans think Nish will catch on to Denise and Ravi's fling and maybe this could be a motive for Denise wanting him dead.

Perhaps he threatens her, and she or one of the women end up killing him. She is the one holding a possible weapon after all.

Suki and Kathy's reactions

It was the looks on the faces of Kathy Beale and Suki Panesar during the flashforward that gave a major hint (ITV)

It was the looks on the faces of Kathy Beale and Suki Panesar during the flashforward that gave a major hint, fans believe.

Suki looked in complete shock and almost like she was trying to process what had happened, before she fell into her seat.

Kathy was staring right at Suki as if out of sympathy or as if Suki had done something, while others took it as a sign that the dead body was someone Suki was close to.

This left many convinced that it had to be a Panesar who dies, and that perhaps Nish is the body on the floor.

Nish vs Suki?

Viewers have a theory that one of the five other women will kill Nish in a bid to protect Suki (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)

Viewers have a theory that one of the five other women will kill Nish in a bid to protect Suki, amid his increasing control.

The knight in the background of the clip and Kathy's comments to Linda about protecting her friends from danger could back this theory.

While the comments were about Dean Wicks, could it be a nod to what happens between the six women later in the year?

Viewers noticed that Suki was the only one not injured or covered in blood, or wielding a weapon.

Fans are predicting Nish will attack Suki or go for her, and that the women will fight him off only for Nish to end up dead.

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
