EastEnders star Charlie Brooks admitted she sometimes feels "lonely" even though she has been bubbled up with her ex Tony Truman in lockdown.
The 40-year-old has been living in the same apartment building with Tony and their 16-year-old daughter Kiki.
"There's a certain confidence that comes with age," she revealed. "Don't get me wrong, some days I wake up and I feel inarticulate and all of those things, it's a work in progress 100% but I feel more confident in who I am in what I offer and what I'm capable of.
"Sometimes I feel a bit lonely, I am single I have been for a few years, but it's OK I feel in a really good place. I think when love presents itself I'll be ready for it."
She also discussed how she feels for young people as their "entire social life is snatched away".
Charlie told MailOnline : "We kind of had our own bubble which was nice and it definitely had its challenges.
"I mean it's so hard for young people, their entire social life is snatched away from them and having the discipline to do it online."
The couple split back in 2006, but the star still sees him as "family".
Just last month, the star told Yahoo UK's White Wine Question Time podcast about their relationship.
"We are going to grow old together, just in a very different way," she said. "He is absolutely my family and nothing will ever change that.
"And it's not always been easy – he's in Ibiza for eight or nine months out of the year. Bringing Kiki up on my own a lot of the time was tough and we've really had to navigate our way around that."
Charlie started dating Ben Hollington in 2012 but eventually broke up.
