Chantelle Atkins will be murdered by husband Gray after he discovers her plan to escape him.
On Monday, viewers watched as Chantelle set out to divorce her husband, which she will attempt to keep a secret from him.
Next week, Chantelle sets her plan in motion as she packs for a "family holiday". But while she is doing so, she is interrupted by a knock at the door, which Gray answers and discovers the other Taylors in holiday attire.
Chantelle manages to convince Gray to let her go and lies to him by saying it was a last minute trip.
She later goes to visit Kheerat and tells him that she doesn't plan to return to Albert Square.
Meanwhile, Gray's suspicions intensify and later he leaves Chantelle horrified when Gray says that he has convinced her parents that the children should stay at home with him.
While on the family holiday, a desperate Chantelle retreats to a local cafe and, noticing that something is wrong, Mitch follows her.
He tries to get her to open up but Chantelle avoids his questions and says that she just misses Mia and Macl.
Mitch is determined to fix things for her so he heads back to Walford and she is hopeful that their plan is back on.
But when she arrives with sweets for her kids, Mitch is not alone and is with Gray too.
Later on in the week, Chantelle gets on the phone to Kheerat and when she returns to the B&B, she is horrified to see Gray there.
While the Taylors watch a film together, Gray ends up insisting that he, Chantelle and the children return to Walford.
As the kids are bundled up in the car, Mitch spots a flicker of fear on Chantelle's face.
The couple arrive back home but as Chantelle finally gathers the courage to tell Gray she is leaving him, tragedy is lurking around the corner as she dies by her husband's hands...
