EastEnders reveals a secret about Callum Highway, known as Halfway, on Friday as he’s confronted by recent returnee Ben Mitchell.
The character has been acting shifty recently, with it clear he’s hiding something.
On Thursday, Ben was seen trying to help his dad Phil Mitchell shift some dodgy motors off the Square after the police began snooping.
His plans to take down his father were recently exposed, with Ben now trying to make amends with his family.
Helping Phil out, he was told to get rid of all of the vehicles as soon as possible.
Ben saw an opportunity when he spotted Callum in the Square, and decided to offer him one of the vans.
Callum couldn’t resist the opportunity after being offered it at a hefty discount.
In Friday’s episode he decides to fix it up for girlfriend Whitney, and mechanic Ben helps him out.
But there appears to be an ulterior motive, after he makes a confession to Halfway that leaves him concerned.
Ben reveals that he spotted him harming himself recently, something that Halfway has been hiding.
He reveals the incident took place a few weeks ago, and questions Callum about it, but what will he say?
Meanwhile Callum is as keen as ever to get the van ready to surprise Whitney, pushing his concerns aside.
It’s not clear whether Ben’s discovery is what Halfway has been keeping from everyone, and the reason for his recent odd behaviour.
Viewers had grown concerned for the character after recent scenes saw him snap at Whitney’s sister Tiffany Butcher.
It comes amid fans speculating whether he could be lying about being an army hero, after his suspicious return.
