EastEnders aired big news on Monday night, as a romantic getaway led to a secret wedding for two characters.
Martin Fowler and Ruby Allen only began dating earlier this year, in lockdown, but they've already tied the knot.
The characters fled the Square just weeks ago for some time away, following the return of his ex Stacey Slater.
She'd been away for over a year and she and Martin had split in that time, with Stacey hoping they might reconcile.
Stacey was mortified to learn that he was now dating her best friend, but nothing could have prepared her for what she learned on Monday.
As she raced over to their house to speak with him following his return, Stacey told Martin her true feelings for him.
Martin told her it was "bad timing" and that she should have said something sooner.
Ruby soon walked out the house and couldn't wait to rub their big news in poor Stacey's face.
She suddenly said to him in front of her: "You're supposed to carry me over the threshold," before smirking.
If this wasn't enough to hint they were wed, Martin soon turned to Stacey and declared he and Ruby had married on their holiday.
Stacey was horrified, before the pair went off into their house leaving her in the Square heartbroken.
Her mum Jean and cousin Kat watched on, having found out earlier on about the big news.
They'd seen on social media that the pair confirmed they had married, but before they could tell Stacey she had already gone to see him.
Is this really it for Martin and Stacey, or might he regret marrying Ruby?
