EastEnders' Adam Woodyatt 'buys £100k camper van' as estranged wife 'struggles for money'

Eastenders actor Adam Woodyatt is said to have splashed out nearly £100k on a camper van amid reports his estranged wife is 'struggling for money'.

The Albert Square legend is said to have bought the motor home last week after living on the road while he toured with his theatre production - Looking Good Dead.

A source told The Sun : “He’s spared no expense. It might please him, but it’s not going to put a smile on Beverley’s face. She’s said to be struggling.”

Adam is now said to be wending his way to Wales to star in the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

It's claimed he has signed a £250,000 contract to appear on the show before his divorce with Bev has been settled.

The actor's estranged wife is reportedly 'furious' with the star's alleged six-figure deal while she 'struggles for money'.

Bev, who shares two children with Adam, is reportedly having financial struggles and has received food parcels from her family.

A pal of Bev told The Sun: "She has really struggled financially and relied on food donations on occasion recently from family and friends."

However the source added that she would "get her own back" by having his number for the Welsh Bushtucker trials on speed dial.

Adam left Eastenders earlier this year – with his character running away from Albert Square after childhood friend Sharon Watts attempted to kill him in revenge for the death of her son, Den.

The actor revealed earlier this year he would be taking an extended leave from the soap having notched up decades of episodes.

Adam is reportedly gearing up to enter Gwrych Castle this month and viewers may finally be able to find out what he's really like.

His former co-star has suggested that Adam is absolutely nothing like his cowardly character.

Speaking to the Mirror at the red carpet of Together for Short Lives, Tamzin Outhwaite said that Adam was "very resilient" and that fans would see the "real side" of him.

The Mirror has contacted Adam's representative for a comment.
