EastEnders actress Jasmine Armfield hints Bex Fowler will die after confirming exit

EastEnders actress Jasmine Armfield has hinted that Bex Fowler could suffer a grisly death after confirming that she would be leaving the soap after six years.

The 21-year-old, who has played Sonia and Martin's daughter since 2014, spoke to Mirror TV on the chilly National Television Awards red carpet this evening and teased Bex's demise as part of the BBC soap's 35th anniversary episodes.

Mick and Linda's boat party will end in tragedy as one Walford resident will drown in heartbreaking scenes in February.

Speaking about the reason she decided to leave EastEnders, she told us: "I think everyone gets to a point in their life where they need to get out of their comfort zone. I've been there for six amazing years and I've loved every single minute of it but now feels like the right time to go."

Jasmine also revealed that she and co-star Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise, decided to leave EastEnders at the same time.

Tilly added: "I'm 22 and all my friends left university and EastEnders was kind of like my university. S now they've all graduated I'm like 'Oh gosh! Maybe I need to graduate!' And Jasmine felt the same way.

"It's nice that we had this year together to make the most of it."

Jasmine added: "Because we're never going to work together again!'

However when asked directly about whether Bex could die in the upcoming drowning scenes, Jasmine teased: "Anything could happen! It's EastEnders, anything could happen. I don't want to give any spoilers but... it's possible."

Teasing her final scenes, Jasmine said: "Dramatic, wet and... tune in! I'm so bad at this!"
