East Midlands Airport has one of shortest delay times out of 24 UK airports

East Midlands Airport has been ranked as having one of the shortest wait times in the UK. It comes after data from the Civil Aviation Authority shows EMA is one of the best for flight delays.

The airport is ranked as having the sixth shortest wait times out of 24 airports. Passengers at EMA wait an average of six minutes for their flights to depart.

Derbyshire Live reports this is the same amount of time as those flying from London Stansted. Birmingham Airport has the worst flight punctuality leaving passengers waiting 12 minutes and 24 seconds.
