Offering visitors a variety of festive-themed experiences, discounts, and whisky tastings over the weekend of Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27, Glenkinchie Distillery is inviting whisky fans to come join them for some festive fun.

Visitors can take advantage of a 20 percent discount on all items in the gift shop up to £500 across the weekend (T&Cs apply), as well as being able to book a free whisky-tasting experience (subject to availability).

Local craft shops, including homeware brand Blockart and skincare company, Seilich, will be on site showcasing the best of what the lowlands has to offer and complete the gifting options.

Tthe Serenata Women's Choir and the Pencaitland Community Choir will also be performing live festive music while guests enjoy their drams.

Free to visit, there will also be delicious festive food and seasonal cocktails will be available for purchase in the bar complete with hot toddies for the ultimate winter warmer.

Visitors looking for the full experience can also book onto the Glenkinchie Flavour Journey. Starting at £19, the fully sensory tour and tutored whisky tasting take guests through Glenkinchie’s storied history and rich landscape.

The team add that tour bookings are not essential for attending the festive weekends.

Regional Brand Home manager for Glenkinchie Distillery, Eleanor Gillies, said: “Christmas is in the air at Glenkinchie Distillery, and our team is excited to play host to the very special celebrations.

“The weekend of November 26th and 27th is a fantastic opportunity for us to kick off the festive season in style, by spreading good community cheer to our visitors through tasty food, enjoyable experiences, and of course discounts. We are excited to welcome everyone and toast a dram to the festive season.”
