East Lothian man found safe by police after going missing in Prestonpans

An East Lothian man who went missing on Wednesday, October 13, has been traced safe and well today, police have confirmed.

Thomas Tham, 48, had been reported missing at lunchtime yesterday, as police launched an appeal for his whereabouts after he was last seen in the High Street area of Prestonpans around 12.25pm.

Since this appeal, Police Scotland have confirmed that Thomas has been traced safe and well.

In a statement released tonight, a spokesperson has said: "Police in East Lothian can confirm that Thomas Tham, who had been reported missing from Prestonpans, has been traced safe and well.

"We'd like to thank the public for their assistance."
