East Lothian man captures cheeky deer munching on Brussels sprouts in garden

An East Lothian man has captured a cheeky deer munching on Brussels sprouts in his garden.

David Black from Gullane, East Lothian caught the brazen thief chomping away at the vegetable patch and even caught the majestic animal on video.

Images show the handsome Scottish creature standing with his antlers at the vegetable garden chomping away at the vegetables on offer including sprouts and cabbages.

The young deer spots the camera but casually just goes down for another mouthful of the fresh garden produce.

The brazen thief seems totally unbothered by David as he continues to chomp away on the healthy breakfast he has found.

David shared the hilarious pictures captioned: “Opened the blinds this morning to find we had the gardener pruning the shrubs and brussel sprouts.”

The adorable post gained over 200 likes from amused locals.

One user said: “Very cute but doubtful he's caring.”

Another said: “Will be back tomorrow, with its pals.”

While one joked: “He can come and help himself to my Brussel sprouts anytime he likes!”
