East Lothian Animal Rescue on look out for injured otter at Port Seton Promenade

East Lothian Animal Rescue Advice have asked Port Seton locals to keep an eye out for an injured otter and being called out to the scene earlier today (Tuesday 25 February).

The otter is reported to have a head wound and was last seen at the end of the promenade heading towards the Camps.

In a post on Facebook the rescue advice service confirmed that the SSPCA were also in attendance.

Both services searched for the injured animal but were unable to locate him.

If anyone spots the otter they are advised to contact East Lothian Rescue Advice on 07378 417682.

Dog-walkers who use the beach at Port Seton are strongly advised to keep their pets on the lead in case the animal is still in the vicinity.
