East Kilbride Thistle reveal new manager with 'wealth of experience at senior and junior level'

East Kilbride Thistle have revealed former Albion Rovers, East Stirling and Pollok forward Iain Diack as their new boss.

He takes over from Stevie McPhillips for the West Region League One relegation scrap with the Jags second bottom of the table.

It comes after director Peter Kelsall stated Gary Johnstone would take the team until the end of the season.

The club statement read: " East Kilbride Thistle Football Club announced today that Iain Diack has been named Thistle's manager on a permanent basis.

"Iain will be joined by Kevin Coyle as his assistant manager.

"Iain brings a wealth of experience at senior and junior level and we are delighted to confirm his appointment as first-team manager. Welcome to the club."
