East Kilbride superdad celebrates completing the Boston Marathon in personal best time

A Stewartfield dad was celebrating last week – or should that be recovering – after completing the Boston Marathon.

Robert Haig was cheered on by his family as he ran the famous race  in a personal best of 3 hours 28 minutes on April 15.

This was the 39-year-old finance manager’s second marathon,  having completed the Stirling race in 2017.

And he is already contemplating his third marathon in Vermont – next month.
