East Kilbride have completed the signing of striker James Finlay from Rossvale.
Kilby caretaker Chris Aitken confirmed that the 25-year-old has joined from the West of Scotland Premier Division side.
Finlay will go straight into the squad for EK’s Lowland League clash against Bo’ness United tomorrow afternoon.
The K-Park side have struggled for goals this season with key forwards missing and Aitken hopes Finlay can be the missing ingredient ahead of a massive game.
“It’s over the line now,” Aitken confirmed. “We’ve been searching for a striker to bring in and James has scored goals for Rossvale.
“Our strikers have been injured and I know David Gourmley, the former Rossvale manager. He recommended James highly and he was trying to get him for Broomhill.
“I was thinking about what I need going forward and I got some excellent recommendations on James.
“He will be included tomorrow. Whether it’s starting or coming off the bench, he will be in the squad tomorrow and it’s a chance for him.

“He’s trained with us a couple of times and was impressed. He’s got good pace but most importantly, he knows how to find the back of the net.
“We played well the other night but we just couldn’t score. We need goals and I don’t care how we get them.
“Hard work needs to start tomorrow and that’s the biggest thing that I’ll be emphasising to the guys.
“It’s a must win game. If we work hard then the quality will come to the top but we need to win tomorrow.”
