Two people are in hospital after shots were fired in a late-night attack in East Kilbride.
Police rushed to Gordon Drive, off Calderwood Road at around 11pm last night (Tuesday) and sealed off the scene of the shooting.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said last night: "At around 11:05pm police received report of on Gordon Drive, near Calderwood Road.
"Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital."
"Inquiries are in their early stages and police officers are still on the scene dealing with the ongoing incident and."
