A drug dealer who was found with more than £10,000 worth of drugs in his East Kilbride home has avoided jail.
Scott Young, of Ontario Place, pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, cannabinol and the derivative substance THC on June 2 and 3 last year.
Hamilton Sheriff Court heard on Friday how police also seized £9600 in cash from the property, Lanarkshire Live reports.

Susan Davies, of East Kilbride, who was also charged in connection had her not guilty plea accepted.
Jennifer Cunningham, prosecuting, said police forced entry to the house after getting a search warrant. Young, 34, and Davies, 48, were present at the time.
Drugs were found in the living room, bedroom and kitchen, including in the fridge and freezer.
The fiscal added: "Other items found were indicative of drug supply. These included digital scales, weights, unused bags and snap bags.
"The officers also recovered £9600 in cash. Young was arrested and provided a 'no comment' interview except to say that Davies had no involvement."
Police experts estimated the drugs recovered had a street value of £10,660.
Sheriff Liam Murphy had warned Young that he could be jailed, but after studying background reports the sheriff decided to impose a one-year supervision order instead.
Young was ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid community work. He will also be electronically tagged for eight months, meaning he can't leave his home between 8pm and 6am each day.
