A house in East Kilbride that suffered extensive damage after being struck by an articulated lorry is now in the process of being demolished by a specialist firm.
The house, on Lancaster Crescent, has been fenced off while a bulldozer gets to work in pulling down the property, which was left a completely irreparable state due to buckled brickwork, exposed walls, ceilings and a caved in roof.
Thankfully, no-one in the home at the time of the smash was injured in the incident, which took place around 11:20pm on Monday night.
