The Torrance Hotel is offering free board to NHS staff during the coronavirus outbreak.
Owners Manorview Group announced the generous move at the East Kilbride Village hotel, which includes bed and board.
Manorview managing director David Tracey told the East Kilbride News rooms are filling up fast after a huge amount of interest from frontline workers.
He said: “As a Group we took the decision to offer our empty bedrooms throughout our venues, which includes The Torrance Hotel in East Kilbride, to NHS workers on the frontline.
“We are now seeing a lot of our rooms being taken up and these are free of charge. We’ve been getting a lot of enquires for all our venues, and we’re very grateful to be in a position to help.
“All of our team have been very humbled by the NHS workers who have been in touch with us and we’re getting a small insight into their commitment to their jobs and to the care of others. We are very grateful for the work they do.
“We’re committed to do what we can to help them continue to do their jobs at this very difficult time.”
David added: “To all our customers, suppliers, friends and supporters, many of you are going through worrying times yourselves, we thank you for taking time to show us your support.
“It means a lot to us. It encourages us to make the difference and to be positive.
“It’s a time for us all to act in a selfless way, to show humility and empathy, and to help one another where we can.
