The Met Office have urged East Kilbride residents to take care with heavy rainfall expected overnight and tomorrow.
The yellow weather warning for rain was issued from midday on today (August 30) until 3pm on Saturday.
The warning states: "An area of heavy rain is expected to become slow-moving across much of Scotland, especially affecting western and central hills."
It could result in some homes and businesses being flooded.
Torrential rain is expected to move slowly across much of the country during both days.
They add "bus and train services affected with journey times taking longer" and "spray and flooding on roads will make journey times longer."
