An East Kilbride company has become part of a thank you campaign to the team behind the release of the brand new Xbox console Series X|S, which launched earlier today.
Microsoft approached the family run business Send Them Balloons several weeks ago in hopes to organise a special show of gratitude to its UK colleagues, who were working hard behind the scenes.
The owners, married duo Claire and James Mcgoldrick, were excited to help organise the gifts for the 27 members of staff.
They said: “ It was a surprise to hear from them, but we were delighted to send balloons to their employee's, small things like that make a big difference right now.“
Send Them Balloons is used to working with other companies, but everyone was surprised when Microsoft reached out.
Caitlin McGill, Warehouse Operative said:” I am so excited to be a small part in a very big launch for the new Xbox Series X|S. It is a lovely gesture on Microsoft’s part and we were really happy to provide a service to them during such unprecedented times.”
