East Kilbride Central Library will close for refurbishment later this month.
The town centre facility, opposite the Odeon Cinema in EK, East Kilbride, will be closed for over two weeks for improvement works.
These will be carried out between Saturday, May 11 and Monday, May 27.
Ceiling tiles will be replaced, new shelves will be installed and new lighting will be added as part of the refurbishment plan.
Users can visit either St Leonards Library or Greenhills Library during the closure.

South Lanarkshire Council's Head of Facilities, Waste and Grounds Services, Alistair McKinnon, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure but we are confident everyone who uses EK Central Library will be delighted with the improvements.
“Unfortunately the only way to make the improvements is to close the library for this short period.”
