Sean Winter bagged a brace as East Kilbride exacted their revenge on BSC Glasgow with a fantastic 4-0 win at K-Park on Saturday.
Kilby were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by their Lowland League rivals last month and just days after seeing caretaker manager Jim Paterson walk out the door, David Proctor stepped in to lead the side to an emphatic victory over 10-man BSC.
Three goals inside the first 21 minutes stunned BSC, who had Ross Smith sent off for bringing down Paton in the box.
David Brownlie's effort, Craig Malcolm's penalty and a deadly double from Winter secured EK's 11th win of the season.
It took Kilby just four minutes to get the show on the road when Brownlie knocked the ball home at the near post and within two minutes they doubled their lead when Winter lobbed BSC keeper Ryan Marshall.
Worse was to come for shell-shocked BSC when Ross Smith hauled down Ruari Paton inside the box and the referee sent Smith off for the foul.
Player/coach and skipper Malcolm stepped up and made no mistake for the spot to put Kilby in cruise control after only 21 minutes.
Winter almost made it 4-0 before the break when his diving header crashed off the crossbar.
But he wasn't to be denied next time around, rifling a strike beyond Marshall from outside the box to complete the scoring in 49 minutes.
EK now look forward to a trip to Civil Service Strollers on Wednesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.
