A major road in the east end has been closed due to repair works.
Provan Road is shut off to traffic between Cumbernauld Road and the M8 off-slip as Scottish Gas Networks carry out repairs in the area.
A statement on the SGN website reads: "It's too early to say how long the road will be closed for. We'll reopen it when we have safely completed our repairs."
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, with delays expected particularly during peak periods.
A signed diversion route has been but in place, directing drivers via Blochairn Road, Viewpark Avenue, Alexandra Park St, Alexandra Parade, Cumbernauld Road (and vice versa for the opposite direction of travel.)
UPDATE TUESDAY 4:12pm: Provan Road northbound has reopened, while southbound remains closed.
