East Dulwich stabbing: Man dies after being knifed in south-east London

A man has died following a stabbing in south-east London in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called at around 2.35am on Sunday to reports of a man stabbed in Lordship Lane, near the junction with East Dulwich Grove.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, died at the scene, Scotland Yard said.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into what happened are ongoing, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course, the force added.

Road closures remain in place at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating the incident.
