2019 East Carolina Pirates Football Schedule Analysis
– The Mike Houston era starts out with a chance to make a statement over at NC State. The Gardner-Webb game is a chance to turn up a bit, and hosting William & Mary shouldn’t be a problem. However, that’s two games against FCS teams – ECU has to win at least five other games. Going to Old Dominion for the other non-conference game won’t be a breeze.
– The AAC season starts out at Navy, and the East games against UCF and USF are back-to-back. However, those come after getting a week off. The Cincinnati and Temple games are at home.
– Missing Houston and Memphis from the West is a massive break. Going to SMU will be a fight, and hosting Tulsa won’t be too easy, but in all there aren’t any games against 2018 bowl teams after November 2nd.
