East Belfast FC thanks Warren Feeney for kind gesture

Former Northern Ireland striker Warren Feeney has shown his generosity to East Belfast Football Club.

The Amateur League outfit voiced its appreciation after Feeney supplied the club with some match balls.

Feeney - who is currently manager of Bulgarian First League side Pirin Blagoevgrad - has a long family connection with East Belfast.

His father Warren Senior played for them in the past and former Linfield boss Feeney has always kept a close eye on the club's fortunes.

East Belfast thanked Feeney following his kind gesture.

They said on Facebook: "East Belfast FC would like to say a huge thank you to ex Northern Ireland player Warren Feeney for supplying the club with match balls.

"Warren has links to the club his father Warren Senior played for the club many years ago.

"Warren over the years has helped the club at every opportunity, during his time at Linfield FC he brought them to Inverary for pre season friendlies to help the club.

"We thank Warren for his support and generosity over the years."
