Cops probing alleged 'armed robberies' in East Belfast have charged a 27-year-old man with a number of offences.
They include two counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, possession of a Class C drug and intent to supply the substance.
The charges relate to alleged incidents on April 19, 23 and 26 on Albertbridge Road, Orangefield Lane, Beersbridge Road and Westminster Avenue North.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating a number of recent armed robberies in East Belfast have charged a 27-year-old man with offences including two counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.
"He's also charged with three counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, possession of a Class C controlled drug and possession of a Class C controlled drug with intent to supply.
"He's due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 29th April.

"As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
