Pancake Day has finally arrived and many will be coming up with the perfect recipes to use.
The typical recipe includes flour, butter, eggs and milk but if you’re looking for something a little healthier, one TikTok user has just the thing for you.
MatthewInTheKitchen shared his pancake recipe online, claiming it is the ‘easiest’ one around - and it’s even gluten free.
Sharing the recipe to TikTok he wrote: “The easiest pancake recipe that is super healthy and gluten free”.
In the video, Matthew uses just three ingredients to make fluffy pancakes which he tops with butter, maple syrup and banana, though these can be swapped out for whichever topping you fancy.

Fans have been quick to praise the recipe online, with many saying they’d already tried it.

Mash your banana in a bowl until smooth
Add two eggs and mix
Add a dash of cinnamon
Spoon batter into a hot pan
Flip when the pancake is firm on the bottom
Serve and add toppings
