IMPHAL: An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale jolted Manipur's Ukhrul early on Friday morning.
According to National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake hit 57 kilometres east-southeast (ESE) of Ukhrul in Manipur with a depth of 90 kilometres.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.5, Occurred on July 9, 5.56am, Lat: 24.70 & Long: 94.99, Depth: 90 Km ,Location: 57km ESE of Ukhrul, Manipur," tweeted National Centre for Seismology at 5.57am.
No casualties have been reported so far.
