Earthquake of magnitude 3.8 strikes North Korea: KMA

A earthquake of magnitude 3.8 struck 32 km (19.88 miles) southwest of North Korea's Gangwon province, South Korea’s Meteorological Administration said on Monday.

The earthquake was detected at 7.45 p.m. (1045 GMT) in Gangwon's Pyonggang County bordering South Korea and was confirmed to be a natural earthquake.

The quake was at a depth of 16 km, the KMA added.
