Earn a free beer with this simple act to help food banks across Leeds

Beer fans in Leeds city centre will be able to get their hands of a free can of lager next week - and help out food banks in the process.

It's all part of a project to raise awareness about food poverty across the UK.

All you have to do to qualify for a free beer is take along a tin of non-perishable food, such as soup, vegetables or fruit, to Victoria Gate. You'll then be given a free can of a brand new lager, created by one of London's most popular breweries.

The initiative is supported by Camden Town Brewery, who will be dishing out Harvest Hells Lager to everyone who donates.

How to get involved

Simply take your food bank donation along to Victoria Gate between 12pm and 3pm on Thursday, September 26 to snap up Camden Town Brewery's new beer.

All the food donated will go towards food banks in Leeds and is supported by The Felix Project, a scheme to raise awareness of food poverty across the UK.
