Early voting looking strong for Clinton

1. Millions vote early

Nearly 10 million people had voted by midday Tuesday – and local reports had Democrats looking strong in Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and Texas. Election officials report the number of returned ballots by party ID – though votes aren’t counted till election day.

2. Clinton warns against complacency

“It’s going to be a close election. Pay no attention to the polls,” Clinton said at a rally in Broward County, Florida. “Don’t get complacent. We need to turn people out.”

3. Trump says Obamacare ‘blowing up’

Seizing on a White House admission that premiums under Barack Obama’s healthcare law will spike next year, Donald Trump said the law was “over” and promised to replace it: “It will be so easy,” he said.

4. Trump denies interest in TV channel

Dismissing rumors of a fallback plan should he not win the presidency, Trump told a radio interviewer, “No, I have no interest in Trump TV.” This week his campaign began producing nightly cable-style segments on Facebook.

5. Colin Powell backs Clinton

In August he accused Clinton’s “people” of trying to pin her email woes on him, but on Tuesday former secretary of state Colin Powell endorsed her for president. “I think she is fully qualified,” Powell said.

6. Old Trump interviews reveal thin skin

7. Timberlake in trouble

Justin Timberlake may have committed a misdemeanor in Tennessee by Instagramming his visit to a voting booth yesterday, in an ill-fated get out the vote effort. Is this the end for Timberlake? Stay tuned.
