As hectic fixture schedules go, Tottenham's so far this season is right up there.
An agonising draw against Newcastle United on Sunday was followed up by a penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup fourth round on Tuesday night.
And Spurs face Israeli champions Maccabi Haifa in the Europa League on Thursday night, before a trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United on Sunday.
Four games in eight days. Not particularly nice to the players.
And the matches will start to take their toll, with manager Jose Mourinho having to be careful with whom he gives minutes to in each match.
There is likely to be plenty of squad rotation, as seen in the nine changes made from the draw with Newcastle to the Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea.
And there will be more to come on Thursday, with Mourinho ruling two players out of the Europa League clash.
Speaking after the win over the Blues, Mourinho said: "Coco (Erik Lamela) was amazing. I can not play him Thursday. Amazing performance. You speak about Coco and I understand why but everybody was really, really good.
"What Eric Dier did is not human but I needed that. I needed that third centre-back. I knew we couldn't play with [Japhet] Tanganga and Toby [Alderweireld] in a match of this dimension. First match of the season for Tanganga and I knew I couldn't.
"So I needed Eric to make that incredible effort. Of course he cannot play Thursday and this is the way we are organising very important matches, where you cannot go maximum strength and this is the way it is."
Son Heung-min will also be missing, with Mourinho confirming the South Korean would not return until after the international break.
