A field of shirley poppies is seen Wednesday at Showa Kinen Park, which straddles the border between Tachikawa and Akishima cities in Tokyo. About 1.8 million red and pink poppies grow on Flower Hill and can be viewed until later this month. Visitors can pick the flowers on May 26.
