Police were called to the village of Eaglesham this morning after a man was found lying in the street there.
Local cops cordoned off an area on Cheapside Street, outside the Scotmid Co-op, in the early hours of this morning (April 15)
According to police on the scene, the van parked outside the store was “of interest.”
but, a source said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called to Cheapside Street around 4.50am.
"That followed reports a man was lying unresponsive in the street.
“He was taken to hospital where he is currently being treated.
“There are no suspicious circumstances around this incident.”
