Meghan and Harry's love story dates back to 2016, when the couple enjoyed a number of romantic dates in London.
On their first meeting in trendy private members club Soho House in Dean Street, London, Meghan and Harry bonded over their "passions for wanting to make change for good", according to new biography Finding Freedom.
The couple were said to be so engrossed in one another, they forgot to eat nibbles that had been put out for them.
Months later, it was reported Meghan and Harry were officially dating and by November 2016 she had already met some members of the royal family.
But, days before the relationship was revealed, Meghan Markle's Wikipedia status changed.
A new entry on the then-actress's page added the role of 'humanitarian' to her occupation at 10.48pm on October 9.
She was listed as an "actress, activist, humanitarian" instead of "actress, fashion model and spokesmodel".
The same evening, a 'Humanitarian work' section was added and an entry about her television quiz show hostess job was removed.
It read: "Markle is actively involved in the socio-political arena and in 2016 she became Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada, travelling to Rwanda for the Clean Water Campaign.
"She has also worked with The United Nations Women, where, as an Advocate, she presented at UN Headquarters for the HeforShe Gender Equality Campaign in September 2014.
"Meghan has also been a panelist on the esteemed list of speakers for One Young World (Dublin, 2014), and has travelled to Afghanistan with the Joint Chief of Staff on a USO tour December 2014."
A month later it was revealed she was dating Harry.
Their fairy tale love story continued when Harry popped the question in 2017.
During their engagement interview, they told the BBC's Mishal Husain that Harry popped the question while they cooked chicken at home in November 2017.
Meghan said it was "sweet, natural and very romantic" and just a "standard typical night in" for the pair.
However the book claims the special moment actually happened while they were on holiday together in Botswana.
They stayed in £1,500 -a-night tents on the luxurious romantic break.
Friends said Meghan returned from the trip "smiling an just completely spellbound" - with a phone full of selfies of her and Harry.
