In the build-up to last night's announcement many were hoping the Prime Minister would give hair and beauty salons as well as barbers the go ahead to reopen.
Following last night's 7pm broadcas t there remained much confusion over what this meant especially after Boris Johnson stated you should go to work if you're unable to work from home.
However, appearing on Sky News this morning Dominic Raab has provided more clarification on this and announced an earliest date "personal and care services" could reopen.
The new information was shared by the NHBT which is an organisation which has been offering support to the hair and beauty industry since 1942.
Taking to Instagram to share the update, its post said: "Dominc Raab this morning has said that hospitality and 'personal care services' such as hair and beauty salons and barbershops in England will not be able to reopen until 4th July at the earliest.
"It is our view that this is the right course of action, as the safety of the people in our industry is paramount.
"Scotland and Wales have also spoken of their determination to take a cautious approach and their current restrictions remain in place.
"We hope to be able to provide more clarity later following a meeting with representatives from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy this morning.
"There are still many concerns within our industry and we are working hard to get answers so that we can plan to return to work safely when the time is right."
