Eamonn Holmes has updated his followers on his chronic pain problem, following months of crippling discomfort.
Eamonn, 61, has been battling with chronic pain for months now, after suffering three slipped discs in his back.
The This Morning star appeared on Loose Women alongside his wife Ruth Langsford recently and admitted he had been forced to use a crutch to move around.
He said: "I've had to come on with a crutch today, that's the way I am at the minute, it's pretty bad.
"I'm having steroid injections and hopefully I'll be on the mend soon."
Eamonn admitted he had found it very difficult to sleep and committed to getting fit and active again to help his rehabilitation.
And it seems his efforts have started to work as he told his followers he was improving.
Eamonn wrote on Twitter: "Another session of physio rehab – feels like I’m making progress – slowly but surely.
"Chronic pain now gone because of Steroid injections – thank God. Got to strengthen my back now.
"Small steps, literally but feeling positive. Thanks for sharing your stories."
And his followers were quick to send him love and messages of support underneath the update.
